Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital, part of the two-hospital system in Inland Valley and Murrieta, California, seeks a House Supervisor to lead clinical teams and ensure patient-centered care in a busy acute care setting.

The role requires an active California RN license, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke certification, with emphasis on staff guidance and patient flow across units.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience as Registered Nurse in an acute care facility.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN Preferred

Responsibilities

• Appropriately directs and supports health care team members in achieving hospital goals.
• Visits all units routinely to evaluate patient/caregiver needs and assesses department activity and effectiveness.
• Analyzes data collected, weighs alternatives, and acts appropriately.
• Arranges placement of patients being admitted or transferred in accordance with specific unit protocol, patient needs and staffing patterns.
• Reviews all admissions for appropriateness according to specific criteria.
