Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking a House Supervisor (Non-Exempt) to oversee RN staff and ensure safe, high-quality patient care on-site. The role reports to the Director of Case Management and supports a hospital-wide teamwork culture.

Applicants must hold a Nevada RN license and an Associate's degree; BSN is preferred. Certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and CNOR may be required within specified onboarding periods.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Licensure as a Nevada RN with an active license is required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and roles.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; performs evaluations.
• Ensures quality of services and staff development; enforces policies and procedures.
• Leads handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints; manages HR/performance processes.
