The role oversees nursing teams, ensures patient care needs are met, and coordinates admissions and transfers across units.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in California with 3 years in acute care, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIH Stroke Certification; BSN preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Three (3) years' experience as Registered Nurse in an acute care facility.
• Experience as Charge RN preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN Preferred

Aufgaben

• Directs and supports health care team members in achieving hospital goals.
• Visits all units routinely to evaluate patient/caregiver needs and assesses department activity and effectiveness.
• Analyzes data collected, weighs alternatives, and acts appropriately.
• Arranges placement of patients being admitted or transferred in accordance with unit protocol, patient needs and staffing patterns.
• Reviews all admissions for appropriateness according to specific criteria.
