Job summary

Community Hospital of San Bernardino is seeking a House Supervisor (RN) to serve as the clinical leader and administrative representative on the assigned shift, directing nursing operations and patient care delivery.

You will oversee staffing, throughput, and compliance with hospital policies while guiding interdisciplinary teams through high-acuity situations and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• ADN required; state RN license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing personnel across units to ensure hospital operations and patient flow.
• Assess and deploy resources to meet staffing needs and real-time throughput.
• Oversee care delivery to ensure compliance with policies and clinical standards.
• Monitor staffing levels and coach staff for development and performance.
• Serve as central liaison for patients, families, and physicians to maintain continuity of care.
• Provide leadership during critical interventions and urgent hospital-wide situations.
