Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator (HOA) to lead clinical and operational activities during shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care across units.

You will oversee patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response, exercise independent judgment, and coordinate interdepartmental activity while providing real-time decision-making and support to frontline staff.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; Master’s preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Illinois with CPR and ACLS current or within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience; leadership role experience required.
• Experience in critical care or high-acuity settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• The HOA serves as the highest level clinical and operational leader on duty during their shift.
• Oversees hospital-wide clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.
• Interprets and enforces policies, directs staff, allocates resources, and makes real-time decisions.
• Acts as central decision-maker for real-time operations and interdepartmental coordination.
