Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator to serve as the on‑duty clinical and operational leader, overseeing patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.

Requirements include BSN, Illinois RN license, CPR and ACLS, with at least three years of nursing experience and two in leadership; MS in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred. Per diem shifts may include holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; MS in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Illinois; CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience with at least two in leadership; critical care/high-acuity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the highest-level clinical and operational leader on duty during shift when senior leadership is not on site.
• Oversees hospital-wide clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety and emergency response.
• Acts with independent judgment, directing clinical activity, resolving complex issues, and allocating resources for safe, high-quality patient care.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity and maintains situational awareness of capacity and resource needs.
