Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator (HOA) to serve as the on-duty clinical and operational leader. The HOA provides hospital-wide oversight of patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response, exercising independent judgment and directing activity to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across units.

Qualifications

• BSN required; master's degree preferred.
• Current, unrestricted IL RN license; CPR required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of progressive nursing experience with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• The HOA serves as the highest-level clinical and operational leader on duty during the shift when senior leadership is not on site.
• The HOA provides hospital-wide oversight of clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.
• Exercises independent judgment, directs clinical and operational activity, and allocates resources to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Acts as central decision-maker for real-time operations and coordinates interdepartmental activity.
