Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – House Operations Administrator (HOA) for Glenview, IL. The role oversees hospital-wide clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response during shifts, guiding frontline staff and coordinating with leadership on real-time decisions.

Requires a BSN, active CPR and ACLS certifications, and at least 3 years of nursing experience with 2 years in leadership; critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
• Current ACLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience with at least two years in leadership roles.
• Experience in critical care or high-acuity settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest-level clinical and operational leader on duty during assigned shift.
• Provide hospital-wide oversight of clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.
• Direct clinical and operational activity, resolve issues, allocate resources, and ensure safe patient care.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity and maintain situational awareness of capacity and needs.
• Escalate concerns to leadership and lead responses to clinical emergencies.
