Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking an experienced home pediatric infusion nurse to join our team in the Umatilla area of Oregon. The role involves delivering infusion nursing care in patients’ homes with travel outside Umatilla as needed, up to one to two hours away.

Applicants must hold an Oregon RN license, with certifications such as CRNI or IgCN preferred and a BSN encouraged but not required. A minimum of 1 year of home health RN experience is preferred, plus CPR/BLS and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Magenta Care is a reputable home health agency dedicated to providing quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate home pediatric infusion nurses to join our team.

The primary location for this position will be in Umatilla, Oregon, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Umatilla to serve our clients.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home health infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. If you hold a valid RN license in Oregon state and have the necessary qualifications and skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act. Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process. Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family. Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld. Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician. Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures. Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) or IgCN (Immunoglobulin Certified Nurse) certification preferred. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required. Minimum of 1 year of recent home health RN experience preferred. Excellent IV insertion skills. Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Oregon state Driver's license with proof of insurability. Reliable transportation.
