Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated Home Infusion RN to provide high-quality patient care in the Tucson area, with travel to nearby communities as required. You will assess, plan, and implement infusion therapies, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety and privacy.

Requirements include AZ RN license (or compact), 1 year infusion/ER/ICU RN experience, BLS/CPR, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Travel Pay is offered.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Tucson, AZ, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Tucson to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid AZ Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Arizona Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
