Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in home settings, traveling up to one to two hours outside the city.

You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care, collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families on infusion therapy, and ensure privacy and dignity in every interaction.

Requirements include AZ RN license, 1 year infusion/ER/ICU, IV insertion, CPR/BLS, AZ driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license required (Compact acceptable).
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in infusion, ER, or ICU.
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Arizona Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in home settings within RN scope; assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care with patient/family involvement. Coordinate with physicians and team to create a care plan. Initiate start of care and advocate for patient rights, safety and preferences. Inform team of changes in condition and document accordingly. Educate patients/families on infusion therapy and self-care.

Location

The primary location for this position will be in Phoenix, AZ, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Phoenix to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act. Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process. Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family. Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld. Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician. Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures. Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid AZ Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU)
• Excellent IV insertion skills
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Arizona Driver's license with proof of insurability
• Reliable transportation
