Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the Glendale, AZ area. The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Glendale to serve clients, with strong focus on privacy and dignity in home health settings.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessments, coordination with physicians, admission facilitation, advocacy, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Arizona Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.
