Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking an experienced home infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in Salt Lake City, UT, with travel to nearby areas. You will assess, plan, and execute care for home health patients, while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in Utah (or Compact), at least 1 year of relevant RN experience, and strong skills in IV insertion, CPR/BLS certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active UT RN license or Multistate (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Utah Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

The primary location for this position will be in Salt Lake City,UT, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Salt Lake City to serve our clients.
