Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Kalispell, MT, with travel up to one to two hours outside the city. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an MT RN license (or Compact), at least 1 year of infusion/ER/ICU RN experience, and BLS/CPR certification. Travel pay and biweekly direct deposit are offered.

Qualifications

• Current MT RN license or Compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in infusion, ER, or ICU.
• BLS and Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with patient and family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes promptly to team, Director of Clinical Services, and physician.
• Provide home health nursing following standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy, potential side effects, and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity. The primary location for this position will be in Kalispell, MT, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Kalispell to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid MT Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Montana state Driver's license with proof of insurability
