Spencer Hospital is looking for a dedicated Home Care Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in patient homes in Spencer, IA. This role involves collaborating with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates are flexible, organized, and capable of delivering compassionate end-of-life care while supporting patients and families. IA RN license and BLS are required; valid driver’s license and insurance are also needed.

Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital allocated in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive skilled nursing care to patients within the home setting
• Participates in the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Provides quality end-of-life cares and support to patient, family, and caregivers

Requirements:

• Flexible, multitasker, demonstrates effective communication and assessment skills
• IA RN license
• BLSrequired
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required

Schedule:

• 64 hours a pay period - 8 hour shifts - full-time benefit eligible
