Job summary

Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice in Maryland seeks a Home Care Educator to lead education for home care services, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate orientation and ongoing staff development.

You will partner with home care managers, serve as the informatics liaison for Epic, EHR and the learning management system, and collaborate with schools to coordinate student learning activities. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• OASIS certification within one year (Home Care only).
• Ten years of nursing practice, including five in Home Care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications for instructional materials; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate education for home care.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing staff development with home care managers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations in education activities.
• Serve as informatics liaison for EHR, LMS, and related technologies.
