Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a part-time Labor and Delivery RN to care for high-risk patients during labor and delivery. Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Registered Nurse credential for Illinois required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients following established protocols.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for laboring patients and communicate changes in condition.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines involved in high-risk deliveries.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care with the healthcare team.
