Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago’s North Side is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. This Level III perinatal unit offers high-risk obstetrics, neonatal care, and a team-focused environment designed to advance clinical skills in maternal/child health.

You will float to postpartum as needed and participate in ACLS/BLS, fetal monitoring, and on-call rotations with a strong emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year or more of Labor and Delivery and/or Postpartum experience is required.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Uphold evidence-based practice and lead efforts to ensure patient safety and quality care within the unit.
