Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) invites applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. This weekend-day schedule focuses on direct bedside care, coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality obstetric nursing.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in the practice state, have a BLS certification, and a nursing degree (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside in Labor and Delivery.
• Coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Adhere to nursing standards of care and state regulations.
