Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor for a Quality Improvement Consulting Company, supporting internal and external customers nationwide in a technically dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will participate as a team member or leader in various surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) across different healthcare settings including long-term care, ambulatory surgical centers, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and hospices. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct on-site surveys to assess compliance with Federal regulations
• Prepare for surveys, including off-site prep, facility tours, care observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews
• Evaluate healthcare quality, patient rights, and physical environment
• Communicate findings and deficiencies to facility staff during reviews and exit conferences
• Assess and verify correction plans and conduct follow-up visits
• Assist with training and participate in work groups as needed

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT
• At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities
• Current RN licensure
• Independent decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage survey tasks independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to travel up to 75% regularly
