Job summary
PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide, direct, and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing services, including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization needs.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required (ACLS within 90 days for Charge Nurses). A current RN license in the state (or compact) is necessary to join our team, with growth opportunities across our growing
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment and AHА-approved.
- ACLS certification must be current for Charge Nurses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process on the unit.
- Coordinate discharge planning and teach patients and families for post-hospital care.
- Access community resources and participate in interdisciplinary care; may perform Charge Nurse duties.
