Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. You will coordinate interdisciplinary plans, discharge teaching, and community resource access to support post-hospitalization needs.

Under supervision of CNO/Director of Nursing, position may involve Charge Nurse duties if ACLS/BLS are current, with opportunities for growth within a network of 70+ PAM Health locations.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Potentially serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required for this role.
• Perform related duties as assigned by leadership.
