Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and potential IV certification are required; inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where the hospital resides; compact licensure if state participates.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit; gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Perform age- and population-appropriate care in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned or requested.
