Ideal candidates hold current RN licensure in the applicable state, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and family teaching.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• Charge Nurse duties may be required; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
