Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate comprehensive care for residents, including physical, psychosocial, and functional needs. The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to licensure rules.

Responsibilities include med administration, IV therapy, care planning with the team, and supervising certified staff to ensure EverTrue standards of care are met. Strong nursing licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Specialized gerontological nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure scope and follow Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to define care plans.
• Perform IV therapies and blood product tasks within licensure.
• Administer medications and monitor IV fluids and treatments.
• Maintain clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Observe resident status and coordinate with services for continuity of care.
• Ensure safe environment and address potential hazards.
• Supervise and direct certified staff to meet care standards.
• Complete rounds and document resident progress and changes.
• Report incidents following state and federal regulations.
