Lutheran Senior Services in Springfield, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct care and coordinate services for residents, ensuring compliance with licensure and regulatory requirements.

The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, administer medications, manage IV therapies as needed, and document care plans in the EMR. Strong clinical skills in gerontological nursing preferred and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure scope and follow Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to define individualized care plans.
• Mix TPNs, hang IV infusions, access/de-access ports, and perform IV pushes.
• Administer medications and monitor IV fluids and nutrition.
• Document in EMR and maintain accurate resident records.
• Coordinate with resident services to ensure continuity of care and safety.
• Supervise certified staff and ensure EverTrue standards are met.
• Perform rounds and document resident progress and changes in condition.
• Report incidents and follow regulatory protocols.
