Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W to provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments during night shifts.

This full-time weekend/night position requires a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS, and at least two years of patient care experience. Supervisor experience and a BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
