Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for General Surgery on 3 West at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. This full-time weekend night position (7:00pm–7:00am) offers 36 hours per week and a chance to contribute to a collaborative surgical team.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of patient care experience, an accredited nursing degree, and an active RN license (compact allowed). BLS certification is required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Education

Graduate of accredited nursing program

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
