Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role requires applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintaining patient rights, and coordinating care with other departments.

A current RN license and BLS are required with at least 2 years of patient care experience. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day/night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
