Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the General Surgery 3W unit at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO.

This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with a 7:00pm–7:00am shift, offering opportunities to contribute to high-quality surgical patient care. Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program graduate, an active RN license (Missouri or compact), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of patient care experience; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and ensures patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
