Job summary
Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its System Float Med/Surg pool. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and provide nursing care across medical and surgical units during night shifts, with flexible assignments across locations.
This role emphasizes adaptability, teamwork, and evidence-based practice in a busy, multi-unit environment. Licensed RN, BLS, ACLS/NRP when required, and 2 years of related experience are preferred; EHR experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Two years of related clinical nursing experience.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/EFM where required.
- Up-to-date TB and vaccination requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and identify nursing problems.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide comprehensive nursing services across units.
- Communicate with patients and families to coordinate care.
- Adapt to different clinical environments while maintaining quality.
