Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise patient care in the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and delivering care, discharge planning and teaching, with ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications include RN licensure in the state or compact, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources.
