You should have an active RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days. Experience in inpatient medical-surgical settings is preferred, with duties including potential Charge Nurse responsibilities when ACLS is

Qualifications

• Holds a valid RN license in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties when ACLS is current and assigned.
