Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process in a hospital unit. You will plan and coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, accessing community resources as needed.

The role may include Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required for those duties, and BLS is required for all staff. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved).
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; AHA approved.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospitalization care.
• Access community resources and collaborate with the care team.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
