Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit, under nursing leadership. The role includes care planning, discharge planning, and patient-family education for post-hospitalization.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS (ACLS required for Charge Nurses); one year of inpatient MS nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources.
• Perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required.
