Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to join the perioperative team. The role includes patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative settings, serving as an RN first assistant during procedures and as an RN circulator when needed.

Requirements include a nursing degree and Georgia RN licensure, plus completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program. CNOR/CRNFA, ACLS, and PALS are advantageous and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Formación

• Graduate from a nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with both didactic and clinical components.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• Minimum 3 years as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if CVOR worked.
• Current BLS; CNOR and CRNFA certifications preferred, ACLS and PALS beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative settings.
• Function as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout perioperative continuum.
• Assume RN circulator roles as needed to support surgical team and patient safety.
