Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to provide safe and compassionate perioperative care across the OR and related settings. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and as a circulator when needed, ensuring adherence to scope of practice and credentialing standards.

The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, GA RN licensure, and CNOR/CRNFA along with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications to support high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (required).
• Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure current in GA (required).
• CNOR certification (required if applicable).
• CRNFA certification (required).
• BCLS (required).
• ACLS (required).
• PALS (required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as RN circulator when applicable.
