Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to join our perioperative team. This role supports safe, patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas and functions as an RN first assistant during procedures.

Georgia-licensed RNs with CNOR/CRNFA certification and 2+ years perioperative experience are essential, with additional CVOR experience preferred. This position offers competitive pay and on-site work with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a nursing program (required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical components) (required).
• Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (required).
• Three years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if working in the CVOR (required).
• Current Georgia RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multi-state licensure (required).
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Serve as RN First Assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Provide RN Circulator support when applicable.
• Ensure credentials, privileges, experience, education, and competency verification are maintained.
