Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will support the surgeon as part of the perioperative team.

Requirements include Georgia RN licensure, CNOR/CRNFA if applicable, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and CVOR experience. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR.
• RN - Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure.
• CNOR - Certified Operating Room RN (if applicable).
• CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support.
• ACLS and PALS as required.

Aufgaben

• Delivery of safe, effective perioperative patient-centered care.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• May also perform as an RN circulator in the OR.
