Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across the OR and related areas. The role includes acting as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and may function as an RN circulator as needed.

Applicants should be a graduate nurse with CNOR or equivalent and have perioperative RN/RNFA experience, with CVOR exposure preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical).
• Minimum 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• Minimum 3 years as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR if working in CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RN first assistant during operative and perioperative procedures.
• Provide safe, patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN circulator when required.
