Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across the OR and related areas. The candidate will function as an RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures and may also serve as an RN circulator when needed.

Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and certifications CNOR/CRNFA/BCLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Required).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (Required).
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR (Required).
• GA RN licensure or multistate licensure in good standing (Required).
• CNOR/CRNFA/BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality perioperative care.
• Function as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• May act as RN circulator in the OR as needed.
