Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across all populations. You will function as an RN First Assistant during procedures and may serve as RN circulator when needed.

Requirements include nursing program completion, AORN-RN First Assistant training, and valid Georgia RN licensure with CNOR/CRNFA credentials. BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if CVOR work.
• Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure.
• CNOR certification if applicable.
• CRNFA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
• Function as RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Serve as RN circulator when required.
