Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit. The 43-bed unit serves cardiac, general surgery, and behavioral health patients with typical stays of 24–48 hours. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a unit educator and charge nurses to support quality care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and a Nursing Diploma. Expect a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio, Foley/IV/NG insertions, telemetry monitoring, and ongoing documentation for patient

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and develops plan of care per unit standards.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation for the healthcare team.
