Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit. This 43-bed unit provides acute care for cardiac, general surgery, and behavioral health cases with typical stays of 24–48 hours.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with physician partners, educators, and discharge nurses. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants, with a 3-year commitment for some roles.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days.
• RN license required upon hire.
• Nursing diploma required; 1+ year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per unit standards and care plans.
• Document care accurately for the healthcare team.
• Assess patients on admission and develop a plan of care.
• Monitor IV sites and start/adjust IVs per policy.
• Maintain safety and participate in staff meetings.
