Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit in Illinois. The 43-bed unit provides acute care with 24- to 48-hour stays. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5–6 and the team collaborates closely with physicians and ancillary staff.

The role requires an RN license on hire, nursing diploma, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of RN experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• RN license required upon hire.
• Nursing Diploma or equivalent.
• RN with >1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per unit standards and care plans.
• Document care accurately for healthcare teams.
• Conduct initial patient assessment and develop care plan.
• Adjust care plan as patient status changes and ensure safety.
