Job summary

Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, CA is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, and supervise and coordinate nursing staff in alignment with department goals and standards of care.

Requirements include current CA RN licensure, ACLS within 90 days, PALS within six months, CPR, one year of ER/telemetry/critical care experience, and completion of violence prevention

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year experience in emergency, telemetry or critical care.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• Training for care of behavioral health/aggressive patients within three months and annually.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift

Description: Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Emergency Room, this position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of each assigned patient; supervising, coordinating and guiding the activities with nursing staff members; and implementing the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the Emergency Department.

Requirements

1. 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.
2. 2. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
3. 3. One year experience in an emergency, telemetry or critical care area is required.
4. 4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
5. 5. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within six months of hire into position.
6. 6. Training (in compliance with SAMC workplace violence policy) for care of behavioral health/aggressive-combative patients, families, visitors, etc., is required within three (3) months of hire into position and annually thereafter.

Pay Range

$ 46.01 - 66.73

*May be adjusted based on career ladder placement.
