Job summary

Medasource is seeking an ED Registered Nurse for the Medical City McKinney Emergency Department in McKinney, TX. The ideal candidate will have Meditech EMR experience and be able to start ASAP, with flexibility on a 4-weekend shift pattern.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality care in the Main ED and PBED, coordinating with the trauma team, and maintaining patient safety with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
• Meditech EMR experience required.
• ED RN experience in a hospital ED setting preferred.
• ASAP start date must be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ED nursing care in Main ED and PBED.
• Coordinate with ED team to ensure patient safety and swift throughput.
• Maintain patient ratios and document care per EMR procedures.

• Number of Staff – 73 FTE
• Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 7 RN, 2 Techs/Paramedics, 5 mid-shift RN, 2 mid-shift techs Night Shift – 1 charge, 7 RN, 2 Techs/Paramedics, 5 mid-shift RN, 2 mid-shift techs
• Patient Ratios – 1:4 in zone
• Type of equipment – GE Monitors
• EMR – MediTech
