Medasource is seeking an ED nurse for the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on rapid assessment, prioritization, and high-level patient care in a 38-bed ED with notable acuity and CPR/CPI requirements.

Responsibilities include port placements, chest tubes, patient monitoring, and precise Meditech documentation. A Monday–Sunday rotation with weekend and holiday coverage is typical.

Qualifications

• Must have recent ED nursing experience.
• Excellent prioritization and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to work 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor multiple patients in ED.
• Perform Port placements and manage chest tubes as needed.
• Provide rapid, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Document actions accurately in Meditech EMR.

• Type of equipment – Vent, BiPAP, EKG, Art Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes
