Job summary

Medasource is seeking an Emergency Department nurse to support patient care in the HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe unit. The role focuses on compassionate patient handling, accurate data collection, and coordination with the ED team in a high-volume setting.

The position requires BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications, along with strong empathy and teamwork. Night/day coverage and a fast-paced environment are typical aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications.
• Strong compassion and empathy required.
• ED nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ED data collection and patient care coordination.
• Monitor cardiac status and perform IV/blood draws.
• Support fast-paced procedures and critical care teamwork.

• Type of staff: Day Shift- 7A: CN, 7 RNs, 1 Paramedic or LVN; 9A: 1 RN; 10A: Paramedic or LVN; 11A: 2 RNs; 12P: Paramedic or LVN; 1P: 1 RN; 3P: 1 RN
• Type of staff: Night Shift- 7P: CN, 8 RNs, Paramedic or LVN
• Patient Ratios – 1:4
• Type of equipment- Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/ CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, portable EKG machine,
• EMR – Meditech
