Job summary

Medasource is seeking an experienced RN for an adult IMU/PCU unit at HCA Kingwood in Kingwood, TX. You will provide patient care, perform assessments, administer meds, and ensure documentation in Meditech Expanse.

Candidates must have RN license, BLS, ACLS and at least 1 year IMU/PCU experience. Preference for charge nurse and Meditech Expanse experience. Rotating weekends. EOE.

Qualifications

• RN license, BLS, ACLS required.
• IMU/PCU experience is a must (1 year+).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult patients on the unit.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document in Meditech Expanse.
• Collaborate with care team for patients post heart cath.

• Unit currently consists of medical trauma

• Thoracentesis
• Chest tubes
• Standard nursing skills: medication administration; RN assessments and reassessments; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR-Meditech Expanse, care of patients post heart cath.
